If you love African beans, then you must know T.O.H. It is an annual competition launched by the African Fine Coffee Association (AFCA), similar in status to the local Cup of Excellence (C.O.E). Judges conduct round after round of cupping from various origins, eliminating any beans below 80 points. Finally, domestic and international judges collaborate to cup and score based on the standards of the Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA). The winning batch represents the top green beans of that year.
