The shop name "Dolce" comes from the Italian "Dolce far niente," meaning the sweetness of doing nothing – just a few minutes of brewing, slow down and focus.
During a trip to Japan, I was captivated by the taste and atmosphere of the coffee shops (kissaten). After returning, I wanted to bring that everyday feeling back to Hong Kong.
We specialize in Japanese roasting styles, emphasizing the distinct flavor layers, balance, richness, gentle elegance, and rich mellow taste of coffee beans. We roast fresh weekly and also offer drip coffee bags. From time to time, we source high-quality seasonal batches, available for a limited period.
Our shop is located in Lai Chi Kok. Besides selling coffee beans and brewing equipment, we also offer one-on-one small group pour-over workshops. If you want to learn how to brew a serious cup without rushing, please feel free to inquire or make an appointment via WhatsApp.
