My friends went treasure hunting in Jimbocho's old book street, and we followed along to explore. This area, besides its scholarly atmosphere, also has the scent of curry wafting through its streets, giving it a real Chungking Mansions feel. The first place we visited was "Koseto Coffee," located up a narrow staircase. The shop's tables are made of thick, heavy pine wood, like a forest. Since the owner has a relative who is a ceramist, the place is also filled with ceramic decorations; even the signboard is made of ceramics, which tells you a lot! After ordering your coffee, you can choose any coffee cup from the wall, many of which are from famous old European brands. Being able to enjoy coffee in such a high-quality cup, beyond the charcoal-roasted aroma, also evokes the scent of roast goose – isn't that a great deal! A reminder: don't be greedy; the size of the cup has nothing to do with the coffee portion. Just pick one you like.
