The Codale coffee filter holder is primarily used for pour-over coffee to ensure the filter paper perfectly adheres to the inner wall of the dripper. This prevents water from bypassing between the filter paper and the dripper, ensuring even extraction of the coffee grounds.

How to Use the Codale Coffee Filter Holder

1. Place the filter paper: Place your pour-over filter paper (such as cone or flat-bottom) into the pour-over dripper.
2. Align and press: Gently place the Codale holder inside the filter paper, using its metal weight and design angle to press the filter paper down firmly. If using a specific dripper (such as Origami), align its grooves with the dripper's indentations.
3. Wet and adhere: While keeping the holder pressed down, evenly wet the filter paper with hot water. The hot water will cause the filter paper to absorb water and, with the help of the holder, achieve a perfectly flush fit.
4. Remove the holder: Lift the holder; the filter paper will now maintain its perfectly adhered shape.
5. Start brewing: Pour the ground coffee into the shaped filter paper and begin your pour-over extraction.
