Gayo Mountain coffee is mainly located around Lake Tawar in Aceh, where the soil is fertile volcanic soil and rainfall is abundant. Due to Sumatra's humid climate, a unique semi-washed processing method has been developed locally. This method reduces the acidity of the coffee beans, increases their body, and highlights caramel and fruity notes, with a slight woody and herbal flavor.

🚨 Coffee Bean Resting Recommendation
Freshly roasted coffee beans need time for their aromatic compounds and oils to mature and develop. Proper resting helps the beans express a more stable and balanced flavour. We recommend waiting 2–3 weeks from the roast date before brewing for the best results.
