Ipanema Estate was established in 1969 and is dedicated to producing high-quality and traceable specialty Brazilian coffee. The estate features state-of-the-art coffee processing facilities and enforces strict quality controls. Currently, Ipanema owns 5,500 hectares of arable land distributed across three historic farms: Conquistar, Capoeirinha, and Rio Verde. These farms are all located in Brazil’s renowned Sul de Minas region. Since its founding, Ipanema has collaborated with senior Brazilian agricultural experts to analyze soil, climate, elevation, and geology in these three regions. With over 40 years of cultivation experience, they produce today’s high-quality specialty coffees.
Beyond cultivation, sustainability is a core commitment Ipanema makes to consumers. Through collaboration with agronomists, they seek better operational models for coffee and ecology. Of their land, 1,200 hectares are set aside as sustainable ecological reserves. Thanks to these efforts, Ipanema has earned certifications such as EUREPGAP Code, UTZ Kapeh Code, Rainforest Alliance, CSC, Fairtrade USA, C.A.F.E., and AAA Ecolaboration since 2002.
